Back on the local train to Naples where we picked up our rental car. Our GPS was not working so we purchased a new one at the Naples train station (same cost to hire for 1 week), however it took a long time to charge so we drove out of Naples not knowing where we were going. Stress levels at boiling we stumbled onto the A1 freeway and lucky for us were going the right way. Followed written instructions all the way as the GPS would not pick up the Villa. Arrived at Podere Campovecchio Villa around 6 30 after finding a wee supermarket for supplies. Down a 3 km dirt track we arrived at a rustic old farm villa - Podere Campovecchio, 4 apartments, (ours is separate) with a big swimming pool overlooking tuscany.
The landscape is beautiful, fields of sunflowers everywhere.

This wild piglet greeted us on our way down the drive. |
