On our way to Cappadocia, a long bus trip (12 hours) but thru amazing countryside and villages
A stop at the Mausoleum of Ataturk , the buriel placee of the national hero who founded the modern republic of Turkey. The guards changed every hour, couldnt imagine standing in that heat for 1 hour with barely an eye moving.
The landscape in Cappadocia was simply stunning. We didnt atempt the balloon ride ( 2 people were killed the week before) but the few that did it said it was super. The underground city was cool. We stayed in a cave like hotel and had lunch and dinner in an underground cave restaurant.
