Rented a motorbike for 3 days to explore. Visitied the black beaches, swam at a white beach, hmmm off a wharf as so stoney, climbed over a track to reach Red beach, very impressive but no way would I lay and swim at that beach. Sheer volcanic rock face just above you, even the track over was crumbling.
Did wine tasting at Santo Winery overlooking the caldera.
Had a nice time poking around Pyrgos, drove up to the monastery where I lit a candle for dear Sonya. Had lunch at this great restaurant overlooking the village from within the castle walls.
Spent alot of time on our balcony and at the pool, with views like we had we had no need to go anywhere else.
