Three trains and 6 hours later we arrived in Venice from the Cinque Terre. Interesting place but soooo overcrowded you could hardly walk. Not so clean and quite smelly. We were a tad dissapointed. Had a good look around, walked for hours into the different neighbourhoods, and got lost many times. Had a change of pace and boated to the island of Lido. The beach was crowded and all was good until we decided to have a swim. It was yuk, dirty stagnant water. Paid to have a cold shower and flagged the swimming for the day.
